Do I need an accountability team to help me start my podcast?

Podcave.com says yes, you do need an accountability team. For example, find a group of 5-10 people who will help you with this task. In order to successfully start a podcast and get it out, you will want to make sure you have an accountability team. Ask friends and family to be a part of your accountability team. Make sure this group is made up of people you trust and are reliable. You will want to let them know that you are planning to roll out your first episode also known as a test or preview episode. Let them know that you would like to add them to your accountability team.

Ask your accountability team to subscribe to your podcast, and to leave a review. After your team has subscribed and left a review for your podcast in the different podcast directories have them share your podcast with others. Every subscriber, and review matters. This is how your podcast is measured.
